If you're facing technical issues or unexpected behaviour on Busuu, follow these steps.
For progress sync or account problems on the web:
- Make sure you're logged in to the correct account.
- Log out of your account.
- Clear cookies and caches on your browser, then log back in.
- If this doesn’t solve the problem, try logging in on another device to confirm if the issue is the device or the Busuu account.
For progress sync or account problems on mobile:
- Log out by tapping your Me tab, tapping Settings, and choosing Log out.
- Close the app.
- Restart your device.
- Log back in.
- If this doesn’t solve the problem, try logging in on another device to confirm if the issue is the device or the Busuu account.
For issues with Busuu behaviour on the web:
- First, make sure you’re using Busuu on a supported device.
- Turn off any active ad blockers or choose to allow ads on the Busuu site.
- Disable any browser extensions in use.
- If the issue persists, contact our team with a console screenshot -
- Right-click on the screen when the issue occurs
- Click 'Inspect'
- Go to the 'Console' tab
- Take a screenshot of the text, including any red error messages.
- Send the screenshot, along with a brief description of the problem, to team@busuu.com.
For issues with Busuu behaviour on your mobile device:
- First, make sure you’re using Busuu on a supported device. If you're using the app on an Android device, update it to the latest Android version. For iOS users, update to the latest iOS version.
- If that doesn’t solve it, uninstall Busuu from your device.
- Force-restart your device.
- Reinstall Busuu.
