We understand circumstances might arise that keep you from making it to a previously scheduled Live Lesson.
You can cancel your lesson with at least 24 hours’ notice via the Live Lesson dashboard on the Busuu platform. You’ll automatically receive a refund of your lesson credit.
Canceling less than 24 hours before your scheduled lesson is considered a late cancellation, and you will lose the credit for this lesson.
Canceling your lesson(s)
To cancel a lesson, follow the instructions below:
Access the
Live Lessons section from the top navigation bar on the website after logging in to Busuu
Locate the lesson you wish to cancel under the Upcoming tab.
Click the
icon
Select
Cancel Live Lesson
Please allow up to 12 hours for your credit to be made available again. You can check your available balance by following the instructions in How can I check how many lessons I have?.
Joining your lesson(s) late
While it is possible to join your lesson later than the scheduled time, please note that your teacher is only required to wait for you for the first half of the lesson before marking the lesson as Missed.
If you join more than 10 minutes after the scheduled start time, the lesson will also be recorded as Missed.
Use the chat function to notify your teacher about the delay, if possible.
Rescheduling your lesson(s)
It’s not possible to reschedule a lesson for a different date or time, even if it’s the same Live Group Lesson or a Private Lesson with the same teacher. Instead, cancel the lesson by following the instructions above and use the refunded credit to book another lesson.
