Before joining your first Busuu Live lesson, it’s a good idea to check that your equipment is ready to go so that your lesson isn’t delayed due to technical issues with your setup. You can do this by following the instructions in our Busuu Live: Set Up and Basic Troubleshooting Guide.
Once you’re done:
Access the
Live Lessons section from the top navigation bar on the website after logging in to Busuu
Locate the lesson you booked under the Upcoming tab
At the scheduled start time, a green Join Lesson button will appear across your dashboard; click it to join
Before entering the classroom, you will be prompted to check your audio and video and select your preferred camera and microphone settings; when you’re done, click Apply to enter the online classroom

If you’ve added your Busuu Live lesson to your calendar, you can join directly from the link in your calendar event. Additionally, you will receive email reminders 1 day, 30 minutes, and 5 minutes prior to your scheduled lesson that will include links to join the lesson. Just make sure that you are still logged in to Busuu from your browser to update your progress!
If you are running late, your teacher is only required to wait for you for the first half of the lesson. If you know you can’t make it to your lesson on time, you might consider rescheduling for another time:
