You’ll be entered into the Busuu Leagues after you complete 2 lessons. Then, you’ll be on a weekly leaderboard with up to 40 other learners, all in competition to win the most points and move up the Leagues!
As a newcomer, you'll start in the Blue League . From there, you can move up through Bronze
, Silver
, Gold
, and ultimately, the prestigious Opal League
.
Competitions run from 5am (BST/GMT) on Monday to the following Monday at 2am (BST/GMT). Finish in the top ten and you’ll move up a League. The bottom five drop down a League, and everyone else stays put.
Remember, no activity means no movement. If you're inactive for a week, your League position stays the same.
Reaching the Opal League is a feat in itself. But the real test? Staying there. Good luck!
