Leagues provide a new fun way to learn together with some friendly competition.
Earn stars to climb the league. Each week the top ten learners in each league will graduate to the next level.
Stars can be earned during your learning journey by:
- Completing lessons from your course and through our Smart Review
- Doing corrections for other learners to help them improve their language skills
You can also get bonus stars for receiving a Best Correction award from another learner.
Leagues run from Monday to Sunday. Each Monday morning those who finished in the top ten graduates to the next level. If you finish in the bottom five, you’ll go down a level.
When you join Busuu, you’ll start in the Blue league and you can progress through to the Opal league.
We’ll let you know if you are at risk of losing out on graduation or dropping down a level but if you’d rather mute these notifications, you can manage the alerts you get in Settings.
